Rome Ciampino Airport
Hotel Caracciolo is about 15-20 kilometres by car from Ciampino Airport, and can also be easily reached by bus or train from nearby Termini Station, allowing all our guests to arrive to depart from Rome rapidly and efficiently.
A paid transfer service may be booked on request to or from Ciampino Airport with luxury cars and private chauffeurs.
Rome-Ciampino Airport, named after Giovan Battista Pastine, is a joint civilian, commercial and military airport in the south east of Rome, a short distance from the “Grande Raccordo Anulare” (orbital motorway). It is managed by the Aeroporti di Roma (AdR) company, together with the Fiumicino Leonardo da Vinci intercontinental airport, together with which it forms the capital's airport system. Numerous services are available at the airport to assist passengers during their stay at the air terminal, before and after flights. It is open to the public every day and has three areas reserved for passengers: Departures, Arrivals and General Aviation, as well as a section reserved for freight.

By Car
Ciampino Airport is on the via Appia Nuova, just 15 km from Rome, near the “Grande Raccordo Anulare” (GRA - Greater Ring Road) - exit no. 23 and the Rome-Naples and Rome-L’Aquila motorways.
Coming from Rome, it can reached by taking the via Appia Nuova in the direction of the Castelli Romani.
Coming from Fiumicino Airport, take the Fiumicino-Rome motorway, then the “Grande Raccordo Anulare” (orbital motorway) towards via Appia Nuova, and follow the indications at exit no. 23 for Ciampino Airport. Coming from the motorways, take the “Grande Raccordo Anulare” (orbital motorway) towards Appia Nuova and follow the indications at exit no. 23 for Ciampino Airport.
By Bus
Ciampino Airport can be reached by various bus lines.
Daily public transport connections between the airport and the Rome Termini FS station are operated by regular ATRAL, COTRAL, SIT and TERRAVISION buses, which are parked in their designated areas in front of the international departures air terminal.
By Train
The nearest railway station to the “Giovan Battista Pastine” airport is Ciampino Città, linked to the airport by COTRAL/SCHIAFFINI buses that pass every 30 minutes. The average journey time is 5 minutes. Tickets cost 1 Euro each and can be bought either before boarding or on the bus from the appointed staff.
There is a light railway link between Ciampino railway station and Termini Station, with an average journey time of 15 minutes.
