Rome Fiumicino Airport

Hotel Caracciolo is about 40 kilometres by car from Fiumicino Airport but can be easily reached by bus or train from nearby Termini Station, allowing all our guests to arrive and depart from Rome rapidly and efficiently.

A paid transfer service to or from Rome Fiumicino (Leonardo da Vinci) Airport, with luxury cars and private chauffeurs, can be booked on request.

Rome Fiumicino “Leonardo da Vinci” Airport is Italy's largest airport. It is well-organised and provides several services for passengers, including post offices, places of worship and meeting rooms, to facilitate their period of stay at the air terminal before and after flights, and it is open to the public every day, 24 hours a day.

The airport is easy to reach from Termini Station, which is a short walk from Hotel Caracciolo.

By car
The Fiumicino “Leonardo da Vinci” International airport is 32 Km from Rome and can be easily reached by taking the “Grande Raccordo Anulare” (GRA – orbital motorway) and then the A91 Rome-Fiumicino motorway, following the indications to reach the terminals for national, international and intercontinental flights.

By Bus
Fiumicino airport can be reached by various bus lines from Termini station, which is just a short walk from Hotel Caracciolo.
The link with national and international arrivals is provided by COTRAL buses and also by the “SIT BUS SHUTTLE”.
The COTRAL buses depart from Rome Tiburtina station, with a stop at piazza dei Cinquecento in front of Rome Termini station. Tickets may be purchased on the bus. 
The “SIT BUS SHUTTLE” coaches provide a link to and from Fiumicino airport and depart from the centre of Rome (Piazza Cavour and Termini station, in Via Marsala). The “Leonardo da Vinci" bus stop is located at the arrivals exit at Terminal 3, immediately after the pedestrian crossing for the bus car park. Tickets may purchased on the bus.

By Train
The Rome-Fiumicino service is the line created by the "Ferrovie dello Stato" (Italian State Railways) to reach Fiumicino “Leonardo da Vinci” Intercontinental airport from Termini station. It takes about 30 minutes without intermediate stops and tickets cost 14 Euros.
